On behalf of the men and women of the Hilliard Division of Police, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our official website. The Hilliard Police Department was formed in 1957 as a "Special Police" force made up of 20 volunteers. In 1960, the first two full-time police officers were hired. Since that time, The Hilliard Division of Police has grown with the City to an agency made up of 66 individuals who proudly serve the residents, businesses and visitors of the City of Hilliard and Norwich Township.

The City of Hilliard is happy to announce the appointment of our new Deputy Chief to the Division of Police. After a reception welcoming Deputy Chief Bobby Fisher, he was sworn in before Hilliard City Council by Mayor Don Schonhardt on December 12, 2011. On behalf of the Hilliard Division of Police, we would like to welcome Deputy Chief Fisher and his family!
